Qi Gong 气功

Qi Gong (often spelt Chi Kung) is a powerful type of health exercise, which has been practiced for thousands of years by Chinese martial art masters and in these days; millions of people around the world.

It is based on old wisdom and traditional Chinese medicine and involves very precise sets of movements, specifically designed to benefit health on many different levels. Regular practice brings about a deep strengthening effect for the whole body and its various systems.

There are hundreds of different practices in China, each with its specific values and functionalities. They can be divided into 3 main groups:

  • Fojia 佛家 Buddhism
  • Daojia 道家 Taoism
  • Kongjia 孔家 Confucianism

and multiply into different styles, pure or integrated, ancient or contemporary.
